Thoughts
It's been almost forever since I've blogged now,
Shame on me for laughing at Mitchell so I'm just going to post one. Not like anyone actually reads anyway. Suddenly just wanted to write how I think and feel about some things...
Firstly - School.
It's almost a year since I've been a student in Ngee Ann, and I must say... I'm not really liking it. The cons totally out balances the pros. Ok. At this point... Many people are going to say that poly sucks and bla... The FB groups... "Whoever said that poly is slack should be slapped." etc. Yes, yes. While we're busy lamenting... Does anyone ACTUALLY remember that we're at TERTIARY level? Tertiary > Secondary. This means that we're at another level, and the work load and stress that we have to handle gets larger naturally, cause more is expected from us. We wouldn't have promoted if we were not capable of doing it. If poly really sucks so much... Then i really pity the students in JC.
It's not so much of the idea of poly that I hate, but rather the poly that I'M IN. It sucks TTM, seriously? I honestly regret coming into NP. I should've went SP instead. Let me do a comparison.
1) Buses to NP from my house: 184, 154, 52. PRACTICALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO BOARD FROM 8.15-8.45. Takes 10-15 minutes. (I have to board these buses at 8.10 to be on time for class OR take 165 and transit to 151)
Buses to SP from my house: 14,166,106,185,105,147 and are barely have any passengers on board even during peak hours takes FIVE minutes. Throw in an extra, it's just one MRT station away.
2) HILLS, HILLS AND MOUNTAINS AND HILLS. Is this good or bad? I've lost weight, got skinner, and my quads and calves are stronger and more toned.
SP - Not as many hills and mountains I guess?
3) POOL - Recently became a part of my life. NP HAS NO CUESPORTS CLUB. Don't bother making one, they'll probably ask you just walk over to Bukit Timah plaza to play. Perhaps NP thinks that cuesports is gay or smth? BUT IT'S NOT.
SP- Has tables, cues.
4) NP = China, waterfalls and floods. It freaking floods in NP! I'm sure many of you have seen the vids.
SP - Haven't heard of any so far.
I can go on forever, so I'll just move on instead. Stressful educational system, Singapore.
Secondly - Studies
This part of my life is inevitable. I HAVE to study. I put this under a different section cause I feel that it's different from school altogether. So far, 3 of my coursemates have withdrawn from school. I can't deny that I'm not tempted, cause I'm rather eager now to clear 2 years of NS away. Honestly, I don't even know why the fuck am I in this course, I don't like it, and it's not my forte. There's no element of interest at all. I can't cope with my studies.
Projects
Business Management - Gonna chiong tonight with my groupmates.
DSS - No one's telling me anything to do I think they'll probably just mark me down cause I'm not part of their clique.
MIEC - Doing now.
PBA - Best, solo-ing.
LMS - CLEARED!
I'm so going to flunk POA and MIEC if I don't study... If I fail MIEC one more time, I'll be off to army. And yes, indeed, it's stressful in poly.
Thirdly - POOL.
Yessss. I never knew how I got this to be a part of my life, but well it is now. However, if there was any scrap of talent in me, I would've been famous now. All the famous players in the world, started when they were like 6-10. The Pearl, The Magician, The Scorpion, The Kaiser, The Iceman... The list goes on. I'm like double that age and I still suck! Oh well, this is Singapore, they don't give a fuck to cuesports.
Fourth - Astro.
I am ever so thankful for Astro. If there's one thing that's good about NP, it's giving me the chance to get into NP Astro, knowing such awesome people, and getting more Astro knowledge. It's really something that I have interest and passion in.......... Woops... But having said that, I forgot! I'm in Singapore!

If only...
